Designed to protect plastic and copper piping in concrete. Sleeving is used primarily in concrete slab construction when pipes are set into the concrete. It accommodates 1/2′, 3/4′, and 1′ piping and is color-coded, red for hot water piping and blue for cold water piping. Prolonged exposure to sunlight will eventually deteriorate polyethylene encasement sleeve. Therefore, such exposure prior to backfilling or pouring of concrete around the wrapped pipe should be kept to a minimum. Packaged in self dispensing box.
